Residential Roofing Applications

Shingle

Asphalt shingle roofing is one of the most durable and cost effective roofing materials on the market. They are also the most common. Typically they last 20- 30 years and are avaiable in a wide variety of styles, and colors. Asphalt shingles are the best choice for a roofing material if you are looking for typical roof, with a reasonable life cycle, and fairly low level of maintenance.

TPO

Thermoplastic Polyolefin, TPO, is the most popular roofing material today. The smooth surface resists dirt pick-up and biological growth compared to other thermoplastic membranes. These ENERGY STAR rated membranes are considered "cool roofs" because they reflect rather than absorb the sun's energy, saving on average 15% in energy costs annually.

Metal

Metal roofs are made of recycled materials. The decision to purchase and install metal roofing can have a greater positive impact on the environment than even a lifetime of household recycling. Additionally, metal roof systems have the potential to outlast any other roofing material. In order to do so they must be well maintained. This includes scheduled inspections and repairs.
